Exhibition Report

Bradford
9th/10th April 2005

Our second visit to the Bradford exhibition held in Bradford Cathedral College. A change of location this time around as we were placed centre rear of the stage area. We didn't need the projector screens as the rear wall of the stage was painted brilliant white.

General view of the stand, using the white wall instead of projector screens. Matt, Ian and Doug warming their engines. OK! So who nicked the semicolon key?. Excellent 4mm model based on Salts Mill in Saltaire. Destined to be part of a backscene on a new layout currently under construction. Beautiful model of a 3F in 7mm on the Oxenhope layout.

It was great to see so many UKTS members over the two days, driving and chatting. Our thanks to Ian Macmillan, Doug Kirtley, Terri Cunliffe, Mark Millar, King125 and Nathan for helping out with the driving. Matt took the opportunity to use his laptop to work on the Highworth stock (it won't be long now!!).

G-Wizz, a family run G gauge layout. G-Wizz, a family run G gauge layout. Japanese layout in N gauge. Japanese layout in N gauge.

A good selection of layouts in the various gauges from N up to G including a Japanese winter scene layout in 2mm. Traders were plentiful supplying the needs of modellers and there were plenty of demonstrators in attendance showing some of the techniques involved in building locos, trucks etc in various gauges.

L shaped tram layout in 4mm. L shaped tram layout in 4mm. L shaped tram layout in 4mm. L shaped tram layout in 4mm.

Our thanks to Keith Fell (Exhibition Manager) and the Bradford MRC for the invite and making us welcome.
Thanks to all the UKTS members who visited to drive and chat and to the numerous visitors who stopped by to watch and chat.
