Our fourth visit to Brighton Model World and we were joined by a large number of UKTS members during the course of the
three day exhibition and by members of the Kuju Rail Simulator Development team - Richard, Sabrina and Adam on the
Saturday, thanks for joining us. Doug Kightley, Saddletank (Martin), Ca55ie (Sam), King125 (Terry), Staxtrax (Clive),
Lad491 (Laurie), Fodda, Buffy500, ccsdc (Dave) and daughter Aisleighn and not forgetting the Daleks and K9 all joined
us demonstrating or just chatting.
From the Model Railway point of view, there were some excellent layouts on display including the modular layout that
just proves the point that a number of individuals can each build there own small layout providing they comply with
the guidelines for modularity and then join them together to make a very large layout.. Excellent trade support was
also evident with everything from ready to run (new and secondhand) to suppliers of raw materials for scratch
building. Phoenix Models were also there with their 5 inch gauge kits of a Class 50 and a Class 52.
Aside from railway modelling a considerable number of other modelling interests were pesent: slot cars, radio controlled
trucks, model aircraft, model helicopters, dolls houses, robowars, radio controlled boats etc etc..

Our thanks to Tim Steven and the Modelworld Organising Group for the invitation. Yet another first class exhibition
and with attendance over 12,000 this year an excellent turn out by visitors. One bonus this year was a Park and Ride
for exhibitors and visitors at the Brighton Racecourse. This worked extremely well.
