Exhibition Report

Horsham
2nd / 3rd April 2005

Our third visit to the Crawley MRS Exhibition at Horsham. Located in our usual position in the far corner of the hall next to the Crawley MRS second hand stall. The weather was excellent, 17 degrees both days which meant that numbers attending were slightly down on previous years.

General view of the stand, while other exhibitors gather at the second hand stall. Cannock Chase, North West England and Scottish Central on display. Bravedan chatting with Neutronic. Decapod goes for a run on Cannock Chase.

We were joined by Lad491 for both days and numerous other UKTS members popped in to help out over the two days, either as demonstrators or just for a chat. Bravedan joined us for a couple of hours on the Saturday and provided us with the opportunity to see a couple of new locos he is working on.
On the Sunday Decapod joined us and took the opportunity to have a drive on Cannock Chase.

Some excellent layouts on show including the new Crawley MRS American HO gauge layout Beaver Bay. Most gauges were covered and the trade support was good. I even managed to pick up the new Bachmann Class 66, the only one at the Exhibition.
