Exhibition Report
Leytonstone
21st May 2005

Our third invitation from the Roding Valley Model Railway Group to attend their Exhibition in Leytonstone. Early arrival, thanks to relatively clear roads meant a short wait for open up time and then a quick setup and we were up and running in our usual location on the stage.

Left to Right, Laurie, Pete, Matt and Doug. The Mayor chatting with the operators of Chasebury. Prutz, a European watch the trains go by. Prutz, a European watch the trains go by.

We were joined by Lad491 and Doug Kightley for the day (thanks guys for helping with the unload and load). A number of members dropped in to see us and chat including the deaf and dumb gentleman who spent over two hours with us and another notepad used up.

The superb Belmont Road in OO finescale. Almost the smallest layout at the show, Eastham Works. Obuom Junction, a layout based on the Ghanaian Railways. Purcell, an American 3.5mm layout.

Some excellent layouts on show as always at this exhibition, from N gauge in a suitcase and Walls Ice Cream tray, British 2mm, 4mm and 7mm, European 3.5mm and an original Hornby Duble three rail demonstration layout.
Plenty of traders helped to make it a first class exhibition.

The Hornby Duble 3 rail demonstration layout. 2mm in a suitcase. 2mm in a Walls Ice Cream Tray. David O'Rourke's German layout, Hochstein.

Thanks to the Roding Valley Model Railway Group for the invitation and refreshments. Thanks again to Laurie and Doug for helping out throughout.
