Exhibition Report
Leytonstone
20th May 2006

Another visit to the Roding Valley Model Railway Group to attend their Exhibition in the Methodist Church, High Road, Leytonstone. Early arrival, thanks to relatively clear roads, a quick setup and we were up and running in our usual location on the stage.

We were joined by Lad491 (Laurie), callumpresley (Callum), Damian2 (Mark), Partyspritz (John), samuelbennett (Sam) and Doug Kightley for the day (thanks guys for helping with the unload and load). A number of members visited us to chat including the deaf and dumb gentleman who spent almost the whole day at the exhibition including many hours with Doug and Matt.

Although this is only a one day exhibition, the organisers always seem to have some excellent layouts on show. Most of the scales and gauges and a good spread of era's from early steam to modern image. Good trade support helped to make it a first class exhibition.

Thanks to the Roding Valley Model Railway Group for the invitation and refreshments. Thanks again to Laurie, Doug, Callum, Sam, Mark and John for helping out throughout the exhibition.
