Our second visit to the Romford MRC Exhibition held in the Marshalls Park School, Pettits Lane South, Romford, Essex. This is a local exhibition for Matt, just 7 miles from home. The exhibition was spread over two large rooms.
An interesting selection of layouts and trade stands and nice to see our DCC colleague from ZTC in attendance again.
We were well placed in the back left corner of one of the large rooms with plenty of space for all our needs. We received many interested visitors keen to see what was new in the world of Train Simulation, many of whom went away with copious notes and their free cd's.
Three layouts in attendance worth a mention. The Ditton layout in three sections, each depicting a different scene. The Romford MRS test track for testing Hornby Dublo 3 rail, 4mm two rail and 7mm two rail, bring your locos and try them here. Probably the worlds largest Thomas and friends layout, still a work in progress.
